DESCRIPTION:
An exceptional french 19th century neo-classical st. Baccarat crystal and ormolu chandelier. The eight arm chandelier is centered by a fine bottom acorn finial amidst a lovely array of prism shaped cut crystal pendants. Elegant swaging cut crystal garlands lead upwards to the central tier where the eight candle cups are decorated with a beautiful lattice design and fine curved elements with charming rosettes and cut crystal pendants separated by striking lyre shaped reserves and richly chased berried laurel wreaths. Additional swaging beaded garlands lead upwards to the striking top crown with impressive pierced palmettes, additional swaging crystal garlands, and elegant pendants.
