DESCRIPTION:
This item is a 1960s Mid-Century Modern Scandinavian crystal drum pendant chandelier. It was designed by the celebrated Swedish master glass artisan Carl Fagerlund and manufactured by the legendary crystal glassworks Orrefors. The design features heavy, multi-layered blocks of ice-textured pressed crystal glass panels. These are suspended from a central brass frame structure and fastened securely with prominent decorative external brass cylindrical knurled screws. The bottom features a matching fan-ridged molded glass diffuser panel that softens and scatters the light effortlessly.
