DESCRIPTION:
The Kori Chandelier’s cast glass emits a glow reminiscent of dripping icicles at night, inspiring its name which means “ice” in Japanese. The individual pendant units can rotate in a range of angles and positions to best highlight both the space and the beautiful textures created by the vertical glass casting process, which ensures that no two pieces are exactly alike. This collection reflects a nostalgic emotion that was inspired by ancient temples in Asia. Over the centuries, the functionality of icicles has been extended to lamps and chandeliers. Commonly used as lamp covers for the individual light bulbs of a chandelier. It is for the preservation of this unique, subdued glow that interior designers have been incorporating textured glass in the many styles of chandeliers, ranging from antique designs to chic modern styles.
