IQ4759 Glassed Screen Ceiling Light

DESCRIPTION:
Rectangular plates of hammered brass alternate with clear textured glass, hung in overlapping tiers around a brass chassis. Because metal and glass alternate, the fixture reads as a woven screen rather than a solid drum: light escapes between the plates and lands in broken patterns on the walls. The glass is pressed with a fine vertical ripple, which softens whatever passes through it. At thirty-five inches across and forty-five deep it fills a stairwell or a room with a high ceiling, and it can be built to other dimensions.
