The Lasso Chandelier from SkLO reigns in one's room with a seductive light, silhouetted by ropes of hand-blown Czech glass. The piece reflects husband-and-wife design duo Karen Gilbert and Paul Pavlak's ethos of subtlety, restraint, and beauty. The crafting process is also central to the duo's work. The chandelier's crafted personality begins with a suspension composed of fabric-wrapped electrical cords. A crossbar extends towards the edges of one's table surface with a slender, subtle profile. Artisans individually arrange glass ropes of varying sizes over the crossbar to create a sense of inspiring movement.
