DESCRIPTION:

The extraordinary design of this lighting collection, such as a leitmotif of the arabesque, was inspired by a complicated Medieval oriental ornament. A weave of the arabesques is based on various vegetal, floral or geometric elements that could be completed with Arabic script (or stylized lettering). The ornament of each arabesque is based on a duplicate of the one or a few patterns. So, the most complicated infinite “picture” appears in its own inner rhythm. The movement of various patterns could be stopped or continued at any point, but the integrity of the whole ornament is not broken. No background is used for creating arabesques because one ornament replaces another, one pattern interweaves covering all the surfaces that can have any form (flat or convex).
