The Burst series is designed by Lindsey Adelman and inspired by combining the look of vintage French jewelry with a Medieval flair. Burst uses the same essential vocabulary as the branching series. For Burst, glass bubbles are punctuated by hand-blown glass spikes and “barnacles,” which have been rolled in 24-karat gold foil. This lighting collection is driven by developing Industrial modular systems to capture the ephemeral, fleeting beauty of nature. Adelman continues to be challenged and seduced by the immaterial substance of light and is obsessed with creating forms that maximize light's sensual effect and highlight emptiness.
