DESCRIPTIONS

Goccia, a suspension lamp by Jacopo Foggini, as the name suggests, represents a suspended drop with an elongated and soft shape, evoking the style of the artist born in Turin and who currently lives and works in Milan. Foggini explores art and design crossing the boundaries imposed by the conventions of the time. Jacopo very early enters the family business where he discovers the versatility of methacrylate, an industrial material normally used in automotive design. His first experiments with this material date back to the early nineties, when he began to use a machine of his own invention that heats the methacrylate up to 200 degrees centigrade, producing a filament that he models with his hands to create luminous shapes, monumental works and labyrinths of threads in an elegant intertwining of colors.
